According to the Maryland Model for School Readiness Data, Anne Arundel County’s percentage of children fully ready for school has increased from 72% to 84% in 2010.

Welcome to our site!

The Early Childhood Coalition (ECC) is a non-profit organization created to accelerate Anne Arundel County’s efforts in ensuring all children enter school fully ready to learn.  We are comprised of community leaders, representing various areas of the public and private sector, state and local governments, and advocacy and service-providing organizations.  We engage the community on behalf of young children, birth to five years, to make school readiness a priority in Anne Arundel County.
